Ben trying to write "Ben + Mel" in a heart. I can see it, can you?
It is too bad this turned out so fuzzy, I think it still a cute picture.
One last "Hurray"
And the clean-up.... notice Buddy is doing all the work!

The dinner was good and company was great! It hadn't been that long since we had seen Ben's family (just since the first weekend in June) so we were able to just pick up where we left off. that is always a great feeling to not have to feel everyone out after a long time apart.
Greyson was a bit fussy. Afterall, this was the fourth day into our trip, three of which we had spent time on the road. The funny part of it was that he was like a light switch, fussy one minute and.... extremely happy the next minute!!
After eating, we let Momma open her presents and she let Madelyn help her. We all pitched in and gave her new silverware with matching service ware. It is completely Momma's style. All the pieces have different depictions of asian birds on them. You know how sometimes you can see something is beautiful but know that you couldn't pull it off. Well, the silverware is beautiful and I couldn't pull it off, but Momma can!!
Happy 50th, Momma!
This elephant came running through and almost crushed me! After a night in the hopsital, it is incredible I didn't sustain serious injuries.... okay, this was a huge elephant statue that we were having fun with.
And I liked this quote.
Did I forget to mention that Stephanie was pregnant? I say was, because since then she has given birth. A later post will talk more about that! The trip, in part, was to help get everything in order for the coming baby. But, alas, we had so much fun just hanging out that we didn't do much baby-prepping. Here's a cute picture of Madelyn listening for the baby. He was awake and kicking!
