Bread and Butter Pickles with Mom

The first August birthday

My mom and dad are here for an extended stay.  When I say here, I don't really mean at my house.  They brought their decked out RV and have it in a nice RV camp about 20 miles from us.  I have to say, it is really nice to have them nearby.  We have been able to do some fun things together.  This particular night we were celebrating the first of 5 family birthdays that hit our extended family in August.  We loved being able to celebrate with her!

 
 
 
 
 

Homemade chocolate zucchini cake (made with the first zucchini out of the garden).  It was pretty good!
 

Seizing Summertime

We are trying to capture summer and have some fun before school starts back. We decided to take an outing to a local water park with friends. It was a great time!





















 

Is Madelyn cold or nervous or both?  I was a little nervous about the swimming to the ladder in 12ft deep water, but I shouldn't have been.  She did great!








Greyson and the little girl in front of him (a friend) did really well on this too!

The kids built this complex track and had a great time with it!

the FAST track

Greyson needs a little help starting up but took to riding and stopping right away! So awesome!  I can't believe how fast my little boy is growing up.... he's on the fast track.
