If you had asked me a few weeks ago what Madelyn's spring break was going to look like I would have told you a trip to the Water Park of America, a trip to a The Works (a hands-on science "museum"), a trip to the Como Conservatory, a trip to Feed My Starving Children, play dates.... it was all planned out! But then Madelyn came down with the awful illness that Ben had a couple weeks ago on the Friday night that Spring Break was supposed to start. Ya'know, the one that you run a fever for 9 days and sleep most of that time. Madelyn has also extended her round of the illness with a secondary sinus infection. Fun stuff, I tell ya! At the beginning of this, Madelyn was glad that she was sick during spring break so she wouldn't have to miss school. But now, 12 days later, she has actually missed 3 days and is DYING to go back to school! But today she is feeling well, hasn't had a fever since yesterday, and looks like she might go to school tomorrow! Yea! Oh, but wait, what is this? Greyson is starting to run a fever.... here we go again.

Ah, I am really sorry to hear this. The flu has been so bad this season.
We live in the same house as my daughter's family and they have three daughters. When one gets sick, we all eventually get sick. Not all at once of course, one at a time so that the illness lasts forever.
Boo!! That is so sad.
