Friends and Quilts
About a month ago, a good "real-life" friend posted here on her picture blog that she was ready to jump into stitching a quilt. As you can see from the first comment, I wanted to make it a joint affair since I also have a quilt that has been waiting in the wings for 10 years! In between discussions and making sure that Greyson was amply entertained, I got some cutting and she got some sewing done. But it was nice to have the time together and to talk about families, our children, and our God's faithfulness. What a lovely morning with a lovely friend. Thanks, Tracy!

I had so much fun, Melissa! Finally on a roll with that pile of squares. And the visiting was the best part. :-)
Congratulations, Ladies!! Can't wait to see your progress. (Don't worry about the finished product at this point. It will happen, but the journey, THAT'S the stuff!)
